For this illustration, I wanted to create a psychedelic turkey. This project required the abstraction and simplification of the complex nature of the turkey, and also includes some custom lettering.

I designed this book cover to cover for Lissa Coffee. The book is a short fable, and was designed to be happy and whimsical. The interior of the book is peppered with custom lettered quotes and titles. 

This wine label was an exercise in designing with contrasting typographic styles, and was made as a practice piece. 

This was a little illustration practice where tried to create a simple and bold mark.

I just recently join One x One Thousand, a creative community in Madison, Wisconsin. They are printing new designs on apparel for 2017, and I have the opportunity to help out by creating this design. Custom lettering for "Midwest Makers" and custom designed icons.

Custom chalkboards are a great way to get your message across in a straight forward and organized manner. Fromagination hired me to redesign and recreate their chalkboards. The large chalkboard menu is used during Concerts On The Square propped up against their sellers tent.

This piece was created by using brush script calligraphy, and then post production within photoshop. I was able to capture the color by dipping a blue crayola marker into purple ink. 

If we are unwilling to fail we are unwilling to learn. I originally set out to letter the quote "If we are unwilling to fail, we are unwilling to succeed", but I wound up changing it to "...we are unwilling to learn" on accident. Honestly, I enjoy this quote even better, and now it's actually my own quote. I firmly believe that although its painful at times, failure is always the best way to learn.

This is the title I designed for author Lissa Coffey's book entitled "The Wisdom Collection".

I hand lettered this address and painted it onto an envelope when I sent Rev Pop Inc. some samples of my work in the interest of working together.

I created this custom lettering as my submission for the Ligature Collective  200K Followers On Instagram competition. Three lettering artists were chosen to join the collective. I didn't make it this year, but very happy with this lettering composition.

Logo Design for Nevermind Brewing.

Madison Wisconsin based brewing company One Barrel focuses on the craft of brewing, so for this logo interpretation, I designed a hand lettered stencil logotype and design. This was done just for fun.

I created this piece of illustrative lettering as an exploration in style.

Hey there! I designed this lettering at Creative South Design Conference 2016 and it won a t-shirt design contest. 

This was just a lettering experiment. I thought it might look funny to see the word tiny lettering is a super bold and wide style. I then added tiny details to the lettering.
